About me

Hi! My name is Brette Williamson and I am a fine artist from Nashville, Tennessee. I earned my Bachelors degree in studio arts and art education in 2016 and since then, I taught elementary school,  had 2 beautiful kids, moved across the country, became a single mom, and then married the love of my life in June of 2022. In June of 2023, I took the leap and quit my office job to pursue painting full-time. In January of 2024 we completed our family with the birth of our baby girl. I now take care of my 3 kids during the week and paint weddings on the weekends. I have since been featured in Nashville Voyager magazine and painted for 2 events featured in People magazine. I have painted for 4 CMA nominated artists and have traveled across the country. Over the years, painting has allowed me to process emotion, feed my children, drive my ambitions, fund my Chick Fila mini chicken biscuit addiction, and create mental clarity. With that, I thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of your wedding days and for supporting artists and our dream to create full-time.
